So, here I am starting a blog. I decided this would be a good idea after following so many other blogs this past year. Not only did I enjoy reading and following other people's journeys but I liked the idea of a blog as a record, of events and thoughts, of one's life. The reason to start one now is that I want a fresh start, a fresh start on a new adoption. For the past three years I been hoping to complete an adoption from Nepal, the last year of this being a stressful, dissappointing, unpleasant experience to say the least. And when our government closed the door to Nepal, it was over, and I had to move on. Looking back now I had a bad feeling about Nepal for year. I feel different about this new journey and I am praying that this time I will bring home a son and a brother for my Nepali daughter.
At this point I will remain quiet about where my son will hopefully come from though I might post hints as I go along. I do not want to post too much information at this point in my journey but when I feel it is safe to do so, I will reveal more.
I hope to post on this blog once a month not just about adoption but also about life with my daughter. I have followed some bloggers who were very active at first and then tappered off. I hope not to do that but then again who knows.
